Workspaces and Teams

Your sources, destinations, events, and team members all live inside a workspace. Everything in it (event logs, source configurations, destinations) is visible to all workspace members.

When to use multiple workspaces

Most teams use a single workspace. Separate workspaces make sense if you:

• Manage webhook infrastructure for multiple clients with strict data isolation requirements
• Have completely distinct projects that shouldn't share visibility or membership

For separating environments (production vs staging), the right approach is multiple destinations within a single workspace, not multiple workspaces.

Inviting team members

Invite team members from Settings → Team in your workspace.

1. Enter the email address of the person you're inviting.
2. They receive an invite email with a link to accept.
3. Accepting the invite gives them access to the workspace.

Invited members can view and manage sources, destinations, and events. Workspace settings and billing are restricted to the workspace owner.

Accepting an invite

The invite link expires after 7 days. If a link expires, the workspace owner can send a new invite from the team settings.

If you're accepting an invite to a workspace but already have a Watchtower account, log in first before clicking the invite link. This ensures the invite is linked to your existing account.

Removing a member

Remove a member from Settings → Team. Their access is revoked immediately. Any events, sources, or destinations they created remain in the workspace.

Switching workspaces

If you're a member of more than one workspace, use the workspace switcher in the top navigation. Select the workspace you want to view and the dashboard updates immediately.

Workspace ownership

The workspace owner is the account that created it. Ownership can't be transferred through the dashboard. If you need to transfer ownership, contact hello@webhookwatchtower.co.uk.
