Billing and Plans

Plan limits, how billing works, upgrading and downgrading, and what happens when you cancel.

Webhook Watchtower has four plans: Scout is free, while Guard, Sentinel, and Bastion are paid plans. Paid plans are available with monthly or annual billing.

Plan limits

Each plan has limits on:

  • Sources: how many inbound webhook feeds you can connect
  • Destinations: how many forwarding endpoints you can configure
  • Events per month: accepted non-duplicate webhook events in a UTC calendar month
  • Retention: how long event data is kept (1 day on Scout, 7 days on Guard, 30 days on Sentinel, 90 days on Bastion)

Current plan details and pricing are on the pricing page.

Free tier

The free tier includes a limited number of sources and events per month. No credit card is required to get started. It's enough to evaluate the platform on a real integration before committing to a paid plan.

Upgrading

Upgrade at any time from Settings → Billing in your workspace. The new plan takes effect immediately. For monthly billing, you're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, then the full amount from the next cycle. Annual plans are charged for the year at the start of the annual billing period.

Downgrading

Downgrade from Settings → Billing. The change takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you retain your current plan's limits until then.

If you downgrade to a plan with lower limits than your current usage, you'll receive a warning. Existing sources and destinations remain active, but you won't be able to add new ones until your usage falls within the lower plan's limits.

Event limit behaviour

A notification is sent when you approach your monthly event limit. At the limit, new ingest requests receive HTTP 403 before storage. Upgrade or wait for the UTC calendar-month reset, then request a provider resend. Rejected events are not available for replay. Existing stored deliveries continue under their retry policy.

Cancelling

Cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your workspace moves to the free tier.

Stored events are retained for a short grace period after cancellation so you can export anything you need. After the grace period, all data is permanently deleted.

Invoices and receipts

Invoices are sent to your billing email address each month. Past invoices are available in Settings → Billing.
